Community Engagement

Community engagement and communication was important to most of the St Marys citizens I spoke to, and so that it was the first initiative I sought to find solutions for upon taking my seat on city council.  My first action was creating the "Citizen Input Portal" which gives citizens a channel to communicate to all council at once and receive responses back in real time.

We still have a long way to go in finding ways to improve transparency and communication, which is why I believe we need to keep working at it.

I would like to see ALL citizens of St Marys empowered and engaged.  More importantly, open communications brings trust which in turn creates an environment where we all feel safe.
